Rex Ryan Gets Vocal About This Weekend's Game
Rex Ryan hasn't exactly been quiet this week when it comes to offering his opinion about how things are going to go down this weekend as he and the Jets travel to Baltimore.
In one article (Rex Bets Torrey Won't Have Repeat) he says that he doesn't think that we will see a repeat performance on behalf of Torrey Smith this weekend and in another article he throws a low-blow to Baltimore, adding hype to the already rivalrous sentiments between the two teams. Ray Lewis Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week
Ray Lewis was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after he recorded 10 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble at St. Louis! This is the eighth time that Ray has won the award in his 16 year NFL career.
The Ravens have won the AFC Defensive Player of the Week award twice in the first three weeks of the season; Terrell Suggs won in Week 1 and Ray Lewis now in Week 3. Despite being ranked 13th overall in total defense, the Ravens have allowed the fewest points in football, 13.3 per game.

Ravens Reassert Themselves As They Ransack the Rams in St. Louis
Ravens fans can breathe a huge sigh of relief this morning after yesterday's massive win over the Rams in St. Louis. We witnessed two very different ball games Week 1 and Week 2 and many were anxious to see which "Ravens team" was going to show up to play in Week 3. Thankfully, it was the Week 1 team and we were all able to kick back and relax as the Ravens pounded the poor Rams into their own turf. It was great to see Flacco getting the protection that he needed to let the ball fly again this week and be able to connect with receivers, something he struggled with in Week 2.
It was a game full of franchise and even NFL records and was certainly the win the Ravens needed to propel them into their Week 4 matchup with the Jets at home in Baltimore.
Here are some of the headlines this morning as everyone continues to celebrate the success of rookie Torrey Smith and the Ravens finally landing themselves a winning record on the season:
