One of the most talked about aspects of the Ravens win in Carolina yesterday is the number of fans that showed up to cheer them on! According to the Baltimore Sun's 11-year NFL writer Jamison Hensely, Ravens fans made up about 40% of the 73,021 attendance. Many have said that this is the largest turn out of Ravens fans at a regular-season away game.
The players themselves seemed blown away by the support and took to Twitter to express their appreciation! Check out some of their Tweets below!
RayRice27: "Ravens fans are the best it felt like a home game today with all the Raven fans that came down to Charlotte thanks for the love and support"
LeRonMcClain33: "S/O to all the fans at the game. Made it feel like a home game. Best fans in league!! #FACT!!"
Ed Reed had this to say about the fans support:
I was at the game, it was amazing how many Ravens fans were there, and how quiet that stadium was, the ONLY time they got loud was the TD pass, besides that it was nothing but Ravens fans cheering.
