"Left tackle Michael Oher was flagged three times against Pittsburgh. Two were on false starts and one holding penalty was declined.

One of the false starts backed the Ravens up from Pittsburgh’s 25-yard line to the 30. Quarterback Joe Flacco was eventually sacked, which pushed Baltimore out of field goal range in the second quarter.

“[Oher] had a tough night with the false starts and the holding penalty,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said. “That was something that hurt us.”

Oher leads the Ravens with 10 penalties this season, twice as many as the second-highest offender, tight end Todd Heap.

“This continues to be a problem,” Oher said of the false starts. “This is something I’ve worked on since high school and college, just trying to be a fast, quick player. That’s an advantage I’ve always had. I’ve just got to go watch film.” "
