According to Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun, the Saints are 3-3 under Head Coach Sean Payton when have played in cold weather conditions in December. The Saints are used to being protected from the elements while playing inside of their Superdome. This week as they travel to Baltimore, they won't have a dome to protect them from the 35-degree temperature predicted for M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday. The winds could reach up to 12 mph, and Payton isn't underplaying the effect it could have on his offense.
“I think the wind can definitely affect the passing game,” he said. “I think the wind is probably more of a factor than possibly rain and/or cold temperatures. … You know that the elements are always something you have to pay attention to.”
