Ravens rookie wide receiver David Reed sets team record after 103-yard kickoff return against Texans

"Earlier this week, the status of Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver David Reed was in jeopardy after police searched his home for narcotics and took evidence to be examined. Since the former Utah standout was never officially charged, the Ravens decided to allow Reed to travel with the team and play against the Houston Texans on Monday—which ended up being a wise decision by John Harbaugh and company.

Reed made a name for himself in Ravens history after returning the opening kickoff in the second half 103 yards for the touchdown to give his team a 28-7 lead. It was the longest kick return for a touchdown in franchise history—which may never have happened after Reed’s incident from earlier this week."
