According to the Baltimore Ravens website:
The NFL and NFL Players Association have agreed upon a 24-hour extension of negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement, according to multiple outlets.
According to an NFL.com source, it could lead to an even longer extension, which gives hope that a lockout or decertification could be avoided. Numerous other reporters have tweeted that they could see the extensions continuing.
An extension eventually led to a new CBA during the last negotiations in 2006.
According to NFL.com, the Players Association’s deadline to possibly decertify is now 4 p.m. on Friday. Neither side has removed the threat of decertifying nor a lockout, the league website says.
